Ingredients

  • 1 cup yellow lentils (moong dal)
  • 1–2 tbsp Kesarishalya Himalayan Big Garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

How to Make

  1. Wash and boil lentils until soft.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and garlic. Sauté until golden.
  3. Add green chilies, turmeric, and salt.
  4. Pour sautéed mixture over cooked dal and mix well.
  5. Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
